About

The Ironwood Cinemas 8 was built in 1998 and was constructed to the highest standards available.

All of our projection, sound equipment and acoustical treatments are state-of-the-art meeting the THX specifications and although we are not a certified THX theatre it was built to meet those rigid specifications.

All auditoriums are stadium style in design with high back luxury seats and cup holders. We even have love seats (arms lift up) on all aisles to accomodate those who require a little additional room or those who just want to snuggle close while they enjoy their favorite movie.

Each auditorium is equipt with JBL Professional Series stage speakers including sub-woofers and surrounds.

All auditoriums have Dolby and or DTS digital sound equipment and our main auditorium has Dolby EX capabilities.

We have done everything in our power to bring the best movie going experience money can buy to the Carson Valley.
